Benefits of our Laser Welding

Laser welding uses the laser´s energy as a source of heat. The welding is carried out by a pulsed laser.

  • High precision laser spot to weld components of wearable products such as injection mold.
  • Laser welding offers travel speeds that can be five to ten times faster than TIG welding and three to five times faster than MIG welding in some applications.
  • Suitable for range of materials and thickness.
  • Laser produce highly concentrated heat source, and transmits only a limited amount of heat into the surrounding material, therefore will have minor changes in microstructure.

Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is a welding process that produces the weld with a non-consumable tungsten electrode.

  • TIG welding will not produce the same small flaws that other techniques create as there is more control over the amperage.
